Loosely,
I weave,
without knots,
flowers into a basket.
Petals to caress you,
a feather
to sign my name onto your skin.
A bubble from your bath
to tattoo your name
into my soul.
All very platonic,
as perforce it must be.
Under the duress of distance
I believe in you,
unreservedly.
